The animal welfare organisation "Perelka e.V.", based in Sommerland, Schleswig-Holstein, is intensively involved in animal welfare, particularly in its three partner animal shelters in Poland. Together with local animal welfare organisations, the dedicated team looks after over 500 dogs and 100 cats. Their help includes insulating dog kennels, procuring winter coats, setting up a medical centre and providing urgently needed food. They also support construction work, organise dog grooming campaigns and other initiatives to protect animals in need. At a regional level, they also support nesting boxes, amphibian migrations, insect protection and cat neutering projects. But that's not all; the team also actively collects donations through manual labour, cooking, baking and running an online flea market to generate funds.

The animal rights activists' tireless commitment to the welfare of animals is deeply impressive. We are delighted that you are also supporting the team so actively with food donations. Thanks to your generous donations, we were able to send a new, large delivery of food to Poland, which will benefit the helpless animals there.
