The non profit organization "Straßenkatzen-LE" tells us about the strays in Leipzig, whose lives are marked by hunger, turf wars and diseases. In contrast to other countries, where strays are often part of everyday life, the strays here are rather shy and suffer in secret. This is probably why we are so shocked when we hear that there are around 20,000 homeless cats. 🥺

Animal welfare activists are particularly committed to neutering in order to reduce the suffering in the long term. Nevertheless, they face the annual challenge of the "kitten glut" this spring. Without your help, the non profit organization would hardly have been able to cope with this time. Thanks to your support, at least food is provided for the kittens. This takes an unbelievable burden off the shoulders of the animal welfare workers and the kittens are happy to have their bowls filled. That's why we thank you from the bottom of our hearts! ❤️
