In the largest animal shelter in the Hungarian capital Budapest, "NOAH", animal welfare activists fight every day for a better life for the city's velvet paws. Because street cats usually lead a terrible life here: they are chased away, mistreated and even killed in killing stations without any grace period. In the winter months, the four-legged friends had a particularly hard time, as they not only had to cope with the people on the street, but also with the freezing cold. 🥺

In a year, the warm-hearted animal welfare workers rescue around 400 cats from acute danger and it would never occur to them to abandon a paw. But for a long time now, people's willingness to donate has been declining and the many emergency felines that had to be rehomed after the winter are emptying the non profit organization's stocks far too quickly. That's why your help came just in time. With your big heart for velvet paws and numerous filled bowls, you made the delivery possible that you can see in the pictures.
